ON THE CREATION OF A PSYCHO-ACOUSTIC HEARING MODEL FOR SPEECH SPECTRUM COMPRESSION BASED ON MODULATION SIGNAL REPRESENTATIONS

Dmitriy Markin · Telecommunications and Radio Engineering · 2013

The work presents experimental dada on the properties of natural functions, describing speech signals in the form of amplitude- and frequency-modulated processes. These data can be used as the basis of a psycho-acoustic model for the development of new efficient speech spectrum compression methods.
