Research on High-Speed Data Gathering System Based on Ethernet Powerlink

To deal with the large amount of data and high propagation delay within long distance, a high speed data gathering system based on Ethernet Powerlink is implemented in the paper. With FPGA and FIFO algorithm, the hardware and software design is presented in details. The design has realized high-speed data cached and accessed synchronously. Experiments and simulation results indicate that the system has a higher communication performance and compatibility.
