Energy Saving Mechanism in Ad Hoc Network

The continuous working time of mobile terminal is the key problem which affects Ad Hoc network's practical application. In this paper, we study energy consumption for Ad Hoc network. This paper classified and compared the typical energy-saving mechanisms in Ad Hoc network, and elaborated the difficulty in energy-saving mechanism utilizations. This paper analyzed the energy consumption performance of typical routing protocols as well.
