What's next for programming teaching tools

Michael Kölling · 2010

This talk does not contain any facts. The content presented will consist of speculations and guesses about the future of software tools for teaching programming, decorated with my thoughts of what drives them, what will be important, and what will fall to the wayside. Since I am not in the possession of a crystal ball, this is based on nothing more than my own meandering ideas and observations. If audience members do not agree, then they might with luck at least enjoy their disagreement.
