Technical translation as information transfer across language boundaries

In this paper technical translation is considered as inform ation transfer across language boundaries. A scheme for mechanical translation from Russian into English and Hindi is discussed. The underlying PCG Theory (or P-Structure C- Structure Grammar theory) is briefly outlined.
