Multiwavelets of the third-degree Hermitian splines orthogonal to cubic polynomials

A new type of multiwavelets with reduced support is proposed for the case of the third-degree Hermitian splines. Their advantage is proved for the numerical data compression over the well-known type of cubic multiwavelets. The results of the numerical experiments are presented.
