Energy Efficient HPC Data Centers

This paper will review the foundations for an energy efficient HPC data center. It covers resources available, benchmarking capabilities and efficiency opportunities. Experiences from both Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratory are described.
