Co-operative knowledge processing in software reuse

S. Kopácsi, George L. Kovács · ACM SIGAPP Applied Computing Review · 1997

The paper deals with the application of a given software reuse tool, and with its enhanced application based on the paradigm of Co-operative Knowledge Processing (CKP). CKP uses the web of shared understanding together with task-, result- and data-sharing. Thus specific knowledge based applications during the two important reuse processes (design for reuse and design with reuse) give a great increase in the efficiency of using reuse, having an appropriate repository co-operating with appropriate intelligent programs. As further enhancement a parallel processing algorithm is suggested, too.
