Watermarking and QR Code in Digital Image Coding

Abstract Watermarking is one of the methods that insist on a copyright as it append digital signals in digital informations like still image, video, ets. This paper proposed a novel digital watermarking scheme which combines a QR code and a watermarking method using DCT coefficient. It proposed an algorithm for selecting a QR code from a image and to be converted into a watermark. It processed a watermarking process using expanded watermarking method in DCT area. This simulation results showed that the PSNR difference between the proposed scheme and the original image was 33.98dB and the normalized correlation between the proposed scheme and the original image was above 99.51. The proposed method is reusable. Key Words : Digital Image, Watermarking, QR code Ⅰ. 서 론 방송 기술은 아날로그 방송에서 디지털 방송으로 변화하고 있으며, 디지털 방송은 디지털 영상 기술과 통신 기술이 융합되어지고 있다.디지털 영상(digital image)은 넓게 사진, 영상, 방송, 영상통신, 모바일영상, 3D입체 영상 등의 기술이 발달하게 되어 밀접한 정보들이 디지털화 되고 있다. 디지털 영상에 따른 정보량의 증가, 정보의 구분이 불분명해질 수 있다는 점, 정보의 저작권 침해 및 불법 복제라는 문제점이 발생되었다.디지털 영상 정보의 보안을 위해 암호화 방법, 방화벽을 구축하는 방법과 디지털 영상 정보의 소유권을 보호하기 위한 디지털 워터마크(digital watermark) 방법을 들수 있다. 그중 디지털 워터마크 기법 분야에서 많은 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 인간의 시각시스템(HVS, Human Visual System)에서 인식할 수 없는 정보를 삽입하게 되는데 이것을 워터마크라고 하며, 잡음과 같은 신호를 발
