A current probe for Nitrogen laser circuits has been constructed employing the principle of Faraday effect. The CS 2 cell is inserted as a Faraday rotator in the magnetic field which is induced by the discharge current of the N 2 laser circuit. The linearly polarized He-Ne laser beam passes through the cell, and the rotation angle of the plane of vibration is detected. The bandwidth of DC to 150 MHz is obtained.
