On bandwidth calculations of multistage amplifiers

A method of calculating the upper 3dB frequency of multistage amplifiers is presented. The method is based upon the repeating nature of multistage circuits. and use is made of the normalization technique of parameters and variables. As illustrated by an example, the method is simple, systematic and gives an insight into the effect of amplifier parameters on the upper 3dB frequency.
