Writing an article for TLE in the new millennium

Dean Clark · The Leading Edge · 1996

Warning! Don’t read this if you are seeking an algorithm for writing an article, in 20 minutes or less, that any editor would immediately accept and publish in the next issue (even if this required drastic rearrangement of the editorial calendar) without changing a comma. This disclaimer is necessary because many assume that such algorithms exist and, in addition, that the replacement of the typewriter by sophisticated PC-based “word processing” automatically translates into less time at the keyboard. Wrong, at least as far as the first draft is concerned.
