Determination of End Points and Length of a Straight Line using the Hough Transform.

When the Hough transform is applied to the detection of straight lines in images, it provides only the parameters of the line but not the length or the end points of the line. We propose a new algorithm for the determination of the length and the end points of a line in an image. It is very efficient in terms of computing time and does not depend on the sharpness of the peak in the accumulator array. 1
