Simplifying the School Marking Process

Despite the numerous books and magazine articles which have been written the subject, school marking methods continue to be widely diversified. Some teachers mark on the curve. Others, for one reason or another, do not accept this method. Perhaps many teachers reason that the normal curve technique for determining marks is too laborious or that this method canont be interpreted in terms of their own individual school mark ing systems.
