It's official! The British need not fear the Year 2000 computer anomaly (a.k.a. the Y2K bug). The government has sealed the exits, patched up the leaks and our nation has, apparently, cracked it! Margaret Becket has declared it in the House and her statements are reinforced through the national leafleting campaign running from early November.
