Increased capacity of image based steganography using artificial neural network

In this paper a new approach of image steganography has been proposed that hides a gray scale secret image into colored (BMP) image. The proposed approach has two phases, in the first phase we compress the secret image using artificial neural network technique and in the second phase, we hide the secret image using Least Significant bit substitution method. By combining these two techniques our proposed approach increases the capacity of data hidden effectively and efficiently to (88.8906%) of the image size with no noticeable distortion on the carrier images.
