Quantum collapse and revival of a two-level atom with intensity-dependent detuning in a finite Q cavity at finite temperature

The authors consider a generalization of the Jaynes-Cummings model when the cavity is supposed to be filled with a Kerr-like medium. The non-linearity induced by the Kerr-like medium leads to an inhibited decay of the initially excited atom. In the present papers they analyse the influence of the quality of the cavity and the influence of a thermofield on the collapses and revivals of the atomic inversion.
