On homogenization of nonlinear hyperbolic equations

In this paper we study homogenizationof nonlinear hyperbolic equations. The weak limit of thesolutions is investigatedby approximating the flux functions with piecewiselinear functions. We study mostly Riemann problemsfor layered velocity fields as well as forthe heterogeneous divergence free velocity fields.
