A multiplier is one of the basic building blocks of digital systems. Transistor based implementations, face many limitations due to heat dissipation, high power consumption and current leakage. Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA), an emerging nanotechnology, is a better alternative that soles these problems. However, QCA circuit timing relies on its layout; but this can be solved by utilizing the asynchronous NULL Convention Logic (NCL) design methodology. This paper presents the design f a QCA asynchronous multiplier circuit. Simulations verify the performance of the designed multiplier.
