Approaching context-awareness for open intelligent space

Approaching Context-awareness problems in Open intelligence space requires applications that work outside of traditional Pervasive space boundaries. Context-aware software built for Open Intelligent Space can follow users wherever they go, with varying quality of service. We present our vision: Controlled intelligent spaces are a special case of Open intelligent spaces; software designed for the latter covers the needs of the former; an agent-centered and choreographed approach is preferable to a user-centered and orchestrated approach in Open space.
