Alcoholics Name Fewer Mixed Drinks than Social Drinkers
Linda Carter Sobell, Mark B. Sobell, Halmuth H. Schaefer · Psychological Reports · 1971
Gamma alcoholics ( N = 25) were found to be deficient in a basic response repertoire for names of types of mixed alcoholic drinks as compared with a matched sample of social drinkers ( N = 25) and a sample of alcoholic bartenders ( N = 10). The deficiency is interpreted as a learning deficit.
