ON SYSTEM PROPERTIES AND SYSTEMHOOD
Aaron J. Shenhar · International Journal of General Systems · 1990
The notion of “systemhood” that was suggested by Rosen4 is addressed in this paper by proposing a collection of system properties that may be considered common to all systems under investigation within the framework of general systems theory. Such properties are interpretation-free, and it is shown how they differ from the classical properties of sets and thus from “set-ness”.
