Systematic error in some methods of reverse correlation
J. P. Wilson, E. F. Evans · The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America · 1975
Two methods of triggered correlation using an averager were tested on several types of filter network. Under certain conditions systematic differences were found between the reverse correlograms and the directly measured impulse responses of the filters. The basis of this error would appear to be that threshold events are not always sampled randomly in these methods. Subject Classification: 65.20, 65.35.
