SMALL OSCILLATIONS IN A HEMISPHERICAL LAKE

By extending previously developed methods, this paper studies small oscillations of inviscid fluid in an axisymmetric lake. For the hemisphere three terms are obtained in the asymptotic forms of the large eigenvalues but the corresponding result for the more general case can only be plausibly suggested.
