Paper presents a wireless acoustic emission sensor device with microcontroller for monitoring systems of structures under stress, prevailed by a piezoelectric AE sensor, fixed on the material surface by an electroacoustic medium. The module performs the analogue to digital conversion of signals, the microcontroller commands the wireless interface, may send and receive information by other emitting -receiver wireless modules. The microcontroller could vary the amplifier gain and make the appropriate analogue – digital conversion. Important to the application is that several wireless modules, fixed on different structures could be part of complex AE monitoring systems.
