A quantum scattering theory approach to quantum-optical measurements

The theory of quantum-optical measurements is developed via a Heisenberg picture approach to quantum scattering theory. The multitime quantum correlation functions describing the measurements are expressed in terms of input or output operators, which are related via the scattering operator.
