An X-corner detection algorithm based on checkerboard features

The paper presents an X-corner detection algorithm based on the neighborhood features of the Xcorner.It makes use of the features in the neighborhood of X-corners to detect X-corners, which include the black or white area occupying half of the neighborhood area and a large gray difference between black and white, as well as the grayscale symmetry of the pixels in the neighborhood.Experiments show that the algorithm can detect the real Xcorner effectively and fast, so it is suitable for the X-corner real-time detection.
