ARPA "automatic programming" meeting

A meeting was held by ARPA January 17-18 to discuss the establishment of a research effort in "Automatic Programming" organized along the same lines as the current Speech Recognition activity. The meeting was led by Steve Crocker and was attended by nearly twenty people who are currently doing work that could be called "automatic programming," as well as representatives of other interested government agencies.
