Independent-Study Unit on Universal Gravitation

Sherman K. Poultney · American Journal of Physics · 1971

After studying mechanics, the general science student is allowed to choose a topic in universal gravitation so that he can apply his knowledge in depth to that topic. He must also go to the library for specialized information, write a paper, and give a brief oral report of his investigations. Topics, suggested areas of investigation in each topic, and a small, complete set of references are given. The topics are also set in perspective and details of administration provided.
