RF measurements for UMTS

This paper reviews some aspects of the UMTS/3GPP wide-band CDMA radio access and discusses the associated basic RF and modulation measurements that will be useful to an RF design engineer. We have concentrated on measurements that are particular to CDMA, rather than measurements which are common to all RF communication systems, such as out of band spurious.
