DIVIDE AND CONQUER ATTACKS ON CERTAIN CLASSES OF STREAM CIPHERS

In this paper it will be shown that two types of keystream generators for stream ciphers, originally thought to be secure, can be attacked using a known plaintext attack. This attack consists of a divide and conquer method.
