Overview of the astrophysics data system (ADS)

The Astrophysics Data System (ADS) has been built with the aim of unifying all the datasets and data systems currently available to the users of NASA astrophysics data. It is a complete distributed geographic information system using the latest information systems technologies, while at the same time being very much a science‐driven project.
