Block modal control via cascade multivariable control structures

The paper deals with the algebraic theory and state-space theory of cascade multi-variable control structures described by matrix fraction descriptions and state-space formulations. A block modal control via factorization of matrix polynomials and solvents placement is developed for multivariable control systems design.
