A Description Logic Model for Reacting in a Dynamic Environment.
Martina Kullmann, François de Bertrand de Beuvron, François Rousselot · 2000
The dynamics of the world can be incorporated into a description logic model by continuously adapting it to the occurring changes. A world description formed by events occurring and actions to be taken with respect to them, allows for retrieving actions. When action retrieval is continuously repeated based on a permanently updated model, it corresponds to the construction of a plan for reacting in a dynamic environment. Using temporal description logics reasoning about plans and object states is possible. As an example application, disaster response is mentioned.
