Debye–Waller factor of the solid from the self-diffusion coefficient at the solid–liquid interface

We present a theoretical calculation of the Debye–Waller factors of the solid from the self-diffusion coefficient at the solid–liquid interface. The calculated values are in good agreement with those obtained from the density functional theory of freezing.
