The Choice of the Initial Value Structure of a Conjugate System in Problems of the Pontryagin Maximum Principle

The theorem is given enabling the half-space of initial values of a conjugate system to be broken down into equivalent sets and the sets of initial values to be "narrowed" to an (n + 1)-dimensional parallelepiped.
