Verification of information in a file

Computer centers and particularly data processing centers deal with a stack load of information files as a daily routine. The information in many of these files is organized according to a particular format. For example, in an file, the information about an employee might consist of the name of that employee, his or her age, sex, social security number, salary, etc., in some order.
