Study on a VOR Signal Generator Based on Software-Defined Radio

The generator which is based on software-defined radio ( SDR ), includes a arbitrary waveform generator and a up-conversion module, is designed to generate the VOR( Very High Frequency Omni-directional Range) signal. Its function is to provide a test signal which has been modulated in various modulation index and composited with reference phase and variable phase information for the ATE (Automatic Test Equipment). Furthermore, it can provide more complex and diverse signals without any change in hardware.
