Enhancing the Sound and Colour Capabilities of Home Computers

This paper discusses system implications of a new integrated 64 colour video encoder for NTSC and PAL standards, and the capabilities of a new LSI stereo sound processor. The consequential challenge to generate enhanced applications software is also considered.
