Digital compensators for dynamic thrust measurement

Lin Chen, Mingdi Wang, Jianxun Li, Hu Dai · 2010

The model of dynamic thrust measurement and typical methods for compensation are presented. Traditional analog compensator's disadvantages consist of being dependent on components, and simply bilinear transformation would cause distortion. Several direct digital compensators, including direct inverse, deadbeat, two-beat-delay and non-deadbeat digital compensators, are compared, designed and novelly proposed in dynamic thrust measuring system. Analysis and experimental results demonstrate that the deadbeat and two-beat-delay digital compensators are the specific cases of the non-deadbeat digital compensator, and the latter one is superior in restraint on noise and disturbance. The processed results of actual data illustrate that non-dead-beat compensator can restrain overshoots and noises.
