On the Binary Representation Form of Certain Integers

The binary representation of integers of the form $(2^{n_1 n_2 } - 1)/(2^{n_1 } - 1)(2^{n_2 } - 1)$, with $(n_1 ,n_2 ) = 1$, has been investigated. A simple algorithm for obtaining the binary form is introduced. Some interesting properties of the binary form are obtained and these properties are applied to arithmetic codes.
