L'identification de lettres dans diverses conditions de présentation
Charles-Albert Tijus · L’Année psychologique · 1986
Summary : Letter recognition under a variety of display conditions. This article reviews studies in which letters are visually presented under a variety of conditions. Some recent models are investigated through their ability to account for experimental findings. We report nine standard results and we discuss current theoretical problems in letter recognition. Work directed to this problem is in progress. A future model, which will explain the processes involved in the processing of stimulus information from a letter display, will have to be able to accomodate the standard results. Key words : letter identification, machine perception.
