Technical limitations on an optoelectronic vector-matrix processor

Results of the analysis of realistic architectures of optoelectronic vector-matrix processors are presented. Estimates of the attainable speed and accuracy of calculations, as well as estimates of the required volumes of preprocessing and postprocessing of input and output data, are made.
