A Model and Analysis for Ants-li e Agents

Mohamed Hamada · 2006

Ants are social insects that work in groups to collectively achieve certain goals that can not be achieved by a single ant. One of the most interesting ants behaviors is the highly optimi ed path that ants follow, in their foraging, between the source of food and the colony s nest. Researchers are inspired by such optimi ed behavior in several applications. In this paper we introduce an integrated environment for ants-like agents based on such ants behavior. Our model can simulate and test the behavior of such agents under various conditions and environment changes.
