Digital domain: T2 goes 3D

Terminator 2 -3D (T2-3D) is wowing audiences at Universal Studios Florida. This Digital Domain (DD) production pushes the filmmaking envelope on many levels. On the production end, the desire for state of the art 3D imagery necessitated the retooling of a technology that remained largely unchanged since its popularization in the '50s (although it was significantly updated in the '80s).
