A Motion-Detection Biology-Based Learning Game for Children

Niladri Sekhar Hore · IEEE Potentials · 2014

We are using the Microsoft Kinect for games that suit the needs of education. Kinect has the ability to simulate all types of user movement and traction in real time. My research is focused on using real-time avatar simulation to create an interactive game-based learning environment. It would be useful to teach biology to children because it requires much more visualization. This research focuses on the level of improvement for students who are learning biology based on a Kinect avatar.
