On the Feature Extraction Performances of Recursive Gabor-Type Filters in Texture Recognition Applications

This paper presents several results regarding the performance of feature extraction using IIR Gabor type filters banks in a texture recognition application context. These performances are studied considering different filtering schemes and filter banks parameters and compared with similar results from literature.
