Intelligent states inSU(2) andSU(1,1) interferometry

The experimentally feasible SU (2) and SU (1,1) intelligent states are studied for the parameter values leading to the crescent topography of their quasidistributions. Such states increase the sensitivity of the interferometric measurement based on the photon-number difference and photon-number sum detections.
