Finite automation over real-number alphabets (abstract only)

In this paper we look at finite state Loors ; achincs whose inputs are drain from the real numbers. Such concepts as non-determinism, minimal realizations and languare acceptance are examined. Such Lachires are basic models of the hybrid devices commonly found in microprocessor-based control environments.
