A pulse time multiplex system for stereophonic broadcasting

A system for v.h.f. broadcasting of stereophonic sound by means of time division multiplex is described. The possibility of adding a third channel is briefly discussed. Encoding, decoding and synchroniz ing arrangements are shown and results of preliminary measurements are presented.
